One Oh Nine

Sometimes, just saying yes brings about such positivity.

Earlier this year, I blindly agreed to assist on a photoshoot for Kyoto Journal knowing very little about the details of the project, and found myself in a studio in central Kyoto, assisting Tobias Hutzler on the cover shoot for Kyoto Journal 109. Everything about the day was intense but brilliant, I learned so much that I promised myself I would just say yes more in future.

To have such special memories attached to the cover, and a few of my own photographs featured inside, makes this issue especially meaningful.
