Elsewhere, Everywhere

I created a book many years ago, but I never managed to properly print it. Even after all this time, the photographs themselves remain very precious to me though, so I have long been thinking about reprinting and self-publishing it under a new name, Elsewhere, Everywhere.

It's a collection of photographs taken while living in London and travelling a lot for work. There is no special theme.. just a beautiful document of a time when it seemed like I was always moving.

I am working hard to remake this book with an edited flow and additional pictures, it is a much nicer series now. I still need help with its cover design (I have ideas for this) and am talking to Kyoto printers about the printing and binding. Making books, particularly in short runs, is so expensive, and right now I am stuck. But I figured that, for now, I will just keep moving.

I just wanted to share a few images of a convenience-store printed sample that I hand-stitched recently as part of my design process. I hope I will be able to update you again soon.
