Storyboards and Seeds

For me, travelling to meet brands has always been the most exciting part of agency life. As well as the obvious.. exploring new places.. I've always loved the pressure of intensely busy times in unfamiliar places; meeting new client teams, listening to and understanding a client's particular challenges and making personal connections within a limited period of time.


We almost always make a point to play back our findings before we leave, to gauge initial reactions to our thoughts with some kind of impromptu creative presentation on the final morning. This often meant all night concept sessions.. and I loved that opportunity to demonstrate creativity under extremely tiredness and pressure.


The resulting storyboards and seeds of ideas were always rushed, always an instinctive mix of things we've seen and heard.. and always impressed the client, that we have created something in the midst of such a packed schedule.
