Sumo Practice

The power, flexibility and balance of the top sumo wrestlers is something I will never not find impressive, and I don't think many appreciate just how athletic they are. I love photographing these fighters and the traditional rituals and symbolism surrounding each bout. I get to see them so infrequently that my photography-learning is so slow.. I will enjoy every little opportunity I get to improve, these sumo events are perfect for that practice.
